 I just got 2K12 not to long ago and I haven't played online yet. :)

I will kill all of you with a heavy attack of Von Wafer and Ish Smith, but no one has PS3 :(

I have a PS3, I just don't have 2K12 on it. and I absolutely suck at 2K12 for some reason.... I was pretty good at 2K11... IDK what happened....

Why say stuff like that unless you're wanting to end up in Orlando long term? If you want to stay, explain why you wouldn't opt-in and tell us straight up you want to be in Orlando for 5 more years.

At this point, he's regurgitating what Fegan tells him to so that he comes out looking like the good guy in this.

The good guy theory only works if we trade him. What if managements decides the offers are terrible and holds onto him? If he leaves in that scenario... He will look so bad... worse than LeBron.

neither LA nor jersey deal is even slightly better than letting Dwight walk. The pieces will not help Orlando to content for the east no matter what.

there is no point in wrapping up the season right now. If Dwight walks, he walks. It is not the point. Any action Orlando takes will not be relevant in the grand scheme of things.

thinking of trading Dwight out of spite or out of revenge or out of frustration would be a very weak move. It does not bode well with the fans of a great franchise with championship inspirations.

Bro you have to look at the future of the franchise. If Dwight walks we get NOTHING and we are left with bad contracts. We won't be contending in forever. Granted even if we trade him we won't be contending for a really long time but there is a difference. We can't let him just walk out on us based on some bull "roll the dice" crap. I was on board initially with rolling the dice but I realized we have to cut our losses and sending our terrible contracts is the best way to jump start our rebuild.

when you think about it, really, does it matter this much to get something? That something would really help the team rebuild?

I don't think so. Suppose you put together a contender in 6 years. Both Bynum and Lopez will be 30 and declining. Lopez is a slow moving lumber now, what do you think he will look like when he is 30? Bynum would even have a career at 30?

picks are not exactly breath-taking either. One of them is lottery protected and the other one will not even be a top 10 pick.

the longest contract will expire in 3 seasons. It is not that long for a rebuilding team, quite reasonable in fact. I fail to see how getting rid of our awful players would jump start rebuilding efforts.

keep Dwight, let the franchise grab some cash and make a playoff run. Dwight's agent will not let him opt in, or else he gets no cut. A lot can change in half a season, I do not think Dwight is dead set on the Nets. Who knows what would happen, both in the summer and during the playoffs.

in the end, I think we can make every scenario work. What matters is to preserve the magic name, because that truly identifies our future. Are we gonna drop to the rockets level or rise to the Celtics level. That's what matters.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.

"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Just frustrated at Dwight and venting, can't believe its ending on a I'm staying!!!!!!!.......wait no I changed my mind again, F U Orlando. But wait still dont trade me because I dont want NJ to suck next year.

8-) Geez thanks ... don't worry I'm holding a lucky Magic blue cloverleaf

But seriously I'm happy this thread helped clean up a lot of the "clutter/unnecessary" threads for the mods... and that it gave you guys one place to just post every type of trade news, rumors, tweets, etc without having 30 different threads every hour to sort through. I hope you guys enjoyed it; it's actually been really fun talking to all you guys (the good, the bad, the weird, the funny, the ugly)... like I actually got to know some RealGM users even more.

Sucks that as a Magic fan this season has been one big downer behind the scenes with the FO... there was going to be more bad news than good news... we expected it (unfortunately... that's the life of a Magic fan).

You guys are awesome.

Stan (yoda) definitely taught Dwight the art of "constipated interview skills" well:

Mmmm.. Trade me... (indigestion).. To Nets, dallas, and la... no wait, is la gonna give
gasol back? no then.. wait, dallas is a small market that is sucking this year?....wait,
nets owner lost russian election? he had promised me position in his cabinet....
(indigestion).......(BURRRP)..Ok keep me this year, that's what i ve been sayin all along.
i will sign it, where do you want (RINGG) hey dan, wassup man, do you have a pen?
what, don't sign it? (indigestion, sip of coke)... wait a minute i am not signing it, i will
watch to not get injured by Bonner tonight so they can trade me.

Tbh, I think he has wrecked his image in the past week so much that there is no saving it. Especially with the pulling out of the deal to opt in. If he walks, he'll always point to these comments "I told them to get me some help" as a fall back and "I requested a trade, I notified them early." Regardless, Dwight's real personality has been exposed thru this process.

The front office is pretty dumb. And WOW, a high school degree? Amazing! So he took geography and Driver's Ed? Cool...
