I'm all for the trade and would do it again but we gave up a ton.
I don't mean to hit below the belt, but you're sounding like one of these ND spinsters right now.(Runs and hides so Jeff doesn't hurt me)
Don't you remember the mood in here during last years trade deadline before the Deron trade? The outlook for this team was at an all-time low. We had just endured the 12 win season, swinging and whiffing big time in the 2012 fee agency, we missed out on John Wall and had zero star power. This team was in a terrible position with Brooklyn looming.
-Devin wasn't gonna net us any valuable picks. Remember Dallas didn't want to trade anything of value to get him. We were looking at a Miller for Harris swap straight up.
-Favors isn't a stud anything. Stud players are those projected to make all-star teams in the future, and Favors doesn't appear to be one of those players IMO. He can be really good, but I'd rather have a legit top 10 player any day.
-we had a group of draft picks and still did before the stupid Wallace trade. We only traded our 2011 lotto pick which was a weak draft... unless you regret missing out on Knight and Walker (players we would have probably picked). Utah won't even be getting GS's pick this year anyways.
