ok, I am going to go back out tomorrow and JUST LOOK this time, ask no questions.
p.s. The XBox looks good up close, but I've always heard about Sony Playstation, what I have decided on though is I am going to hook it up straight to my 32" instead with nothing else. I have too many things attached to my big screen and I don't feel like rewiring - cable box, 2 DVR'S, home theater and good old fashioned VCR.
The Move is a PlayStation accessory that utilizes a camera and special controllers to allow your movements to be incorporated into game play. It's only used for certain games and isn't at all necessary. Xbox has a similar feature called Kinect and Wii has games for the same. I doubt you or your nephews get any utility from that. You can always pick it up later if you want to go that direction. It's probably better to just concentrate on the console itself for now.
What the other salesman was probably trying to communicate is to not get too caught up in one console over the other. The system is pretty much as good as the games you like for it. If you find there are titles you want that are exclusive to one system, it's a better play for you. There's a lot of overlap amongst systems though, especially PS3 and 360, and the distinctions probably aren't going to be of any significance to you given your limited interest. PS3 and 360 offer the most selection and variety.
I wouldn't get bogged down in any bundle offers unless you see one for some games you actually want or think your nephews would want. Like others have said, most of that 3rd party accessories stuff is riddled with issues and would seem needless for you. As the consoles generally only include one controller, an additional stand alone controller from that specific system would seem to suffice and that's only if there's going to be multiple people looking to game at the same time.
If you're making another store visit, I'd swing by a Best Buy or Gamestop or someplace they have kiosks set up where you can get some hands on experience with interacting with the system, seeing how you like the controllers, a few titles, etc.
