He was getting hard fouled as a rookie after those dunks on Mosgov and Galo. After that players would try to take him out the air and it continued his whole rookie season. That was way before he started floppoing (which he does do). Avoiding poster is still the main reason he gets hard fouled today. The flops just make people like it when he gets fouled hard.

The reason he gets hard fouled is because he had a rep coming into the league that you could take him out of his game by being physical with him.

The idea that NBA players have banded together in some sort of anti-flopping vigilante group to target Blake is preposterous.
