The 2012 Rockets Board Offseason Drinking Game!

Well, time for the annual tradition. Welcome to the Official 2012 Rockets Offseason Drinking Game!!!

The game is simple: we have a list of predetermined rules and if they are broken you must take a drink of a beverage of your choice.

You win the game by surviving it.


As always, we can add new rules to the ones you see here. A rule must be nominated and seconded to be added to the list.

Here are the inaugural rules for the 2012 Offseason Game:

1) If a trade is proposed which brings Amare Stoudemire to Houston you must take a drink.

2) If a trade for Stoudemire or any other player is proposed with the condition "that's what you gave up for Gasol" then you must take a drink.

3) If a trade is proposed where we get back more players than we send out, you must take a drink.

4) If any iteration of the phrase "Houston is desperate for a superstar" is made, you must take a drink.

5) If anyone complains about Houston getting the 2013 All-Star Game, you must take a drink.

6) Whenever someone acts offended by rocketsballin's standard, quoted reply to a bad trade proposal, you must take a drink.

7) Any time Daryl Morey uses Twitter to try to reach out to potential free agents, you must take a drink.

8) If Les Alexander says anything along the lines of "we're going in the right direction" or "I have faith in this team" then you must take a drink.

9) Anytime the Pau Gasol trade is revisited, you must take a drink.

10) Any time that any trade is proposed and Martin is not heading out, you must take a drink.

11) Any deal that is proposed with the assumption that Houston MUST move Lowry, you must take a drink.

12) Any time a Lowry/Pau deal is proposed, you must take TWO drinks.

13) Any time Kyle Lowry's name is mis-spelled in a trade proposal you must take a drink.

14) Any time the reasoning of "He's from the Houston area/Texas" is used, you must take TWO drinks.

Choose your drinks carefully, chaps...I don't see any of us surviving this one!

I don't really drink, but am a chronic weed smoker. How do I fit into this. (Yes, disbelief, an Aussie that DOESN'T drink!!!)

I also propose, anytime a trade is mentioned with New York that garners us a 1st round pick means you must drink as well.
