So that "Scout" is just telling him what everyone already knows who paid attention to college basketball last year. He reminds me of Walker in that he has a good stroke, nice arc, and absolutely horrific footwork. No thanks

I don't want any part of this class of tarholes. I remember seeing a post on the facebook page where someone suggested we trade 2 for Portlands 6 and 11 and then take 2 of the 3 between Barnes/Marshall/Henson..UGH...just say no to the holes this year plz

hopefully, seeing the way we have approached the coaching vacancy, we will be just as thorough deciding our pick.
I think its the Cho influence that has made us increase the amount of groundwork we do before making a decision

what scares me the most is how unattractive this job just got without Davis attached........

screw you David "the crook" Stern may you rot in hades, what more proof is needed to see that the NBA is completely rigged from the front office of nba to the refs to the lottery, last year stern rewards the cavs with 2 top three picks for losing lebron, now stern sells the league owned hornets just weeks ago and hmm now they have the number 1 pick LMAO what a utter joke the NBA has become.

The best scenario would be trade witg Boston and Portland. Take 6 from Portland and give Boston 11 for both their picks. Then go with PJIII with 6, Royce White, and Dion Waiters.

Agree with you here... I think that's why Cho sounded so disappointed at the lottery, he was realizing that landing the 2nd pretty much assures that he's going to busy as hell leading up to the draft.
We're lucky to have Biz/Hendo to put prospects up against in camp which will quickly reveal how ready they are for the league

Friend just sent me a link.
Had we waited a bit longer to trade Wallace, we could have the #2 and #6 right now.
Then again, we'd probably have more than seven wins. Hindsight is a biatch.

Re: 1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)
Cavs GM Chris Grant says they will explore moving up. Cavs have 4 picks in this draft:
Sam Amico @SamAmicoFSO
Chris Grant says Cavs will explore option of moving up in draft, but it's extremely difficult. "Look at history. Doesn't happen often."
M.S. Boyer/J. Valade @PDcavsinsider
#Cavs GM Chris Grant wouldn't spill beans on who he likes at #4 (of course). Said he'll be "active," didn't rule out trading up in draft.

Bigmen are very dependent on guards. Lamb basically tried too hard sell his NBA stock all year by attempting difficult isos and Napier and Boatwright just plain chucked. You don't need a whole lot of post moves to score well as a College big. Robinson and Davis both have just a hook and a spin move and that's about it. I don't know what games you were watching but Drummond is silky smooth on the offensive end, hence his Amare comparisons. His problem is he can't shoot FTs to save his life and that went a long way towards limiting his post game b/c he was afraid to bang b/c of getting fouled so he was very passive. He's just raw and uncoached, that's all and easily fixable.
What player(s) do you like @ 2, Hasheem?

Mmm, yeah, daddy likes. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Dion Waiters, I don't think him and Beal are that far apart. Beal is starting to remind me more of OJ Mayo than Allen or Gordon.Re: 1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)

i feel like i might as well get used to the idea of MKG as a bobcat. he seems like a player MJ will fall hard for.

One of these two is T-Rob, the other...is Drew Gooden.....the reason I'm posting this is because for everyone saying we can't afford to draft the next DeAndre Jordan(Drummond) you sure we can afford to draft the next Drew Gooden??

What a terrible way to make an argument. Go look up Westbrook's college stats compared to Augustin's

I still really like Thomas Robinson. He's a legit 6-9, has good footwork, and good mid range jumpshot and good attitude. I draft him and then try to get that #10 or 11 pick from NO/Portland for DJA or Hendo with Mullens. Adding Robinson and Lamb in this draft would be a nice move for this organization.

I'm comparing two dudes with similar builds, who have played in similar offenses.....that's not comparing a Ben Howland offense to a Rick Barnes offense.....especially when Westbrook dwarves DJ

Drummond is coordianted, which is a big plus to me. It's not like he is just a raw athlete or a big oaf that can run. I think if we work with this kid he can develop into something good.

Okay, compare MJ and Vince.
Having similar builds and playing in similar offenses does not mean you'll have the same nba career
