Take into consideration size, skill set, ceiling etc. Who would be the better fit next to Robinson?
Trade Biz to the Kings for the #5 and take Robinson and Drummond?
Kemba - Hendo - 2013 pick - Robinson - Drummond
I'd welcome that deal and those players, but it will never happen. Cats fans like Biz but he's not viewed within GM circles as any great shakes. Potential is there but nobody is giving us #5 for him. Drummond has a higher ceiling and is a natural 5. Biz is better suited to be a center but he's undersized. Incredible reach only goes so far.
BTW, the photo everyone is talking about is not absolute. Despite the appearance, T-Rob is standing slightly back from Drummond and Barnes is closer to the photographer. Perspective, particularly depending on the lens length, creates distortion. Wait for the combine for everyone's measurables.
Lastly, I also think Beal will be very much in the mix of consideration for CLT, along with Drummond. T-Rob is still my guy, until I see something that makes me change my mind. Drummond is quite the horse, and while I like Beal, I think he might be the bigger reach between the two. T-Rob will be a quality player, and will only get better as he works at his trade. PASSION! DRIVE! LEADERSHIP! I think Robinson brings all that along with his skill. Let's see how it plays out.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
