How do you envision him helping the Wizards?
Well, he has been so successful playing the 3 in Minnesota that it would be shame not to let that tradition continue.

I think Beasley has been miscast as a 3. He's a stretch 4 and probably would be more efficient if he wasn't asked to create shots against quicker 3s. He also was a terrific rebounder in college and would likely post better rebounding numbers as a 4.
Not saying he could help us. I don't want him in a Wizards uni. I just think he'd probably be better off at the 4.

Ersan Ilyasova averaged 11.5 Rebounds per 36 minutes, with a Total Reb% of 17.6% (DRB% of 22.8%) TRB% placed him at #16 in the entire league, and total Reb. per game put him 18th with 8.8.
Not crazy numbers like Love, but comparable to Faried's numbers last year. Oh, and shot 45.5% from 3. Second in the NBA to Steve Novak.
Works for me.

With Ilyasova and Vesely fighting for the PF minutes, there wouldn't be much left for Booker and he'd be sure to depart via free agency in 2 years anyhow. Our best bet would be to trade him immediately for the best possible SF we could find. If not a SF, then a future pick.
I wonder if Golden State would trade us Dorell Wright? That would leave us with:
PG Wall/Denmon
SG Beal/Crawford
SF Wright/Crowder/Singleton
PF Ilyasova/Vesely
C Nene/Seraphin
That's a playoff team.

Sorry, nate, but I am not understanding why we move Booker instead of Vesely...
