But, but, I thought Stern was still the owner and that's why the lottery was rigged for the Hornets?

A low lottery pick, a mid-range first rounder, and two premier second-round picks is not a terrible offer. But when the player is on the caliber of Anthony Davis, no offer is reasonable. Many analysts peg the consensus No. 1 overall pick to have a similar NBA career as Kevin Garnett.

When 24 became the middle of the draft. Oh always.

Its actually a pretty crappy offer. If Cleveland was serious, they would have offered their #4, Tristan Thompson, and 2013 1st rounder.
The Cavs were immediately rebuffed, as the Hornets obviously believe Anthony Davis is worth a lot more than that quartet of picks.
