We need someone who can score, create his own shot, which I think leaves out Barnes and Beal. Honestly, with the new "Kemba-centric" offense that Dunlap's bringing, I think we need a big who can finish off of Kemba's drives and set screens/rebound. I think that Cho and Co like to bring in their favorite prospects late - so either ThoR or Drummond. I would bet our pick is one of those. I'm guessing the safe route is ThoR, but I have a sneaking suspicion we might be thinking Drummond. I think they are playing things very close to the vest, hoping another team falls in love with another prospect (cleveland/sacto with Barnes) and that's why we are hearing rumors that we could pick Barnes at 2. We want to swap picks with them, and take Drummond. Because Washington isn't taking Drummond (they just traded McGee which they don't want to go through it again), and neither is Cleveland (they just took TT last year). Just my $0.02.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi
