Call me very satisfied with that if it happens.
Draftexpress update has us with Beal and Miles Plumlee at 32. That I don't get at all. Apparently we are cornering the market on 4-5s? Plumlee will be 24 when the season begins. I don't care how athletic he looked/measured at the Combine; at his age he should have dominated college opponents and didn't.
NBAdraftnet has us with Beal and Jenkins. Makes more sense.
Just made my Andy Samberg face. I would love Jenkins and Beal/MKG. As much as my mind may say Beal, my heart says MKG. In the end I would be happy with either one, but am going to lose my **** if we trade down with Houston. A trade down with Portland I might forgive.
CCJ, you've had a lot of pro-Ross posts in the last 10 pages or so. How do you feel about Ross vs. Waiters? I don't know if I think Ross is that great on defense, and for a SG, he is not a very good penetrator. Ross could however be a great fit for the Wizards as a catch and shoot player. For all of the talk of what a good shooter Beal is, I think Ross may be the better shooter.
There have also been a good number of posts recently about Beal not being a good penetrator. I don't think that is true. Beal can penetrate and finish through contact. He posted a solid 2 point finishing percentage.
Off topic, it is a shape that Lamb came off so stupid in his interviews, referring to Batum as some, "light skinned guy", etc. Lamb's 2Pt% makes me salivate a little.
