Yeah, Mullin also then traded away those contracts as soon as he realized they were mistakes.
Say what you will about Mullin, but he learned from his mistakes and made better decisions as his tenure went on.
He was lucky enough one GM was crazy enough to trade for them. The Pacers couldn't trade them further until they were expiring...
So, should it be held against the Pacers that we got Roy Hibbert, but we got lucky in dumping JO in the process? Doesn't a GM who learns from their mistakes work every angle to move their mistakes, and shouldn't they at least be viewed with some better hindsight for correcting their errors?
