Where are all the likings of Dalembert to the other potential blunders that were our center options moving into the season. Overpaying Kaman or Hawes, drafting Zeller or Leonard. I'll take Sam Dalembert and pick 14 for pick 12 1,000,000 out of 1,000,000 times and not even think twice.
Our options at center were looking so bleak and awful I can't see how ppl have anything to cry about with this deal.
Why isn't anyone talking about this? Is it because it's too much of a positive around here? That's a freaking shame. Jon Brockman is officially an embarrassment on a different team.
I mean how many realistic options out there were better Bogut replacements than Dalembert? We can name better centers than Daly but realistic possibilities of us stealing 1 away like we did Daly? Ibaka surely but how realistic is that? None what so ever. Daly is fearless with a super long frame/wingspan and never misses games. Bogut was somewhat fearless with a good frame that always missed games. Bogut is the better all around center and younger, BUT, Daly does everything Bogut did on D just about as good and hes definitely the type u need behind a Jennings/Monta backcourt. I'm not usually one that advocates "stop gap, band aid" moves but this is definitely a really good 1.
