So much for "Wade is always hurt with you guys when he doesn't play well". He was obviously not right and should spend the offseason fixing his knee issues. I wonder if his camp has ever considered the Orthokine therapy, as I believe it'd be a good method for him. He should definitely return to Grover though. The guy was perfect for him, his methods turned him into a monster, there's no reason to not work with him.

Wade said it himself that it is just a "cleanup" surgery so its not a major one. He will be available for training camp, which is most important right now.

I wonder if Wade is ever going to play in the Olympics again. He would be 34 years old. Hopefully he will still be somewhat of an elite player at his position (ala J. Kidd during 08) to still get a spot. The SG position is dying every year but the PG is getting stronger every year.

Also I hope Wade seriously gets with a shooting coach. If he can consistently knock down jumpers, he'll be effective for a long time. Doesn't even have to be the three pointer, just from mid range.

It's funny how we're all happy with this news. A guy needs knee surgery, and we're happy he's getting it. That's how bad Wade's knee was. I'm happy he not only gets it treated, but also avoids the wear and tear of London. I wonder if he'll do that orthokine stuff Kobe and co have gotten into. PEACE.

i wanted this for wade. he already won two medals and played his part. his future is more important for the heat franchise and he knows it. im ecstatic that he knows he needs to get that knee 100 percent and he is acknowledging that a shooting coach will help him this offseason. ive said it many times before. wade is a transcendent talent. only because he will eventually lose explosiveness (which he still has in bounds) doesnt mean he will cease to be an effective player. guy is an extremely hard worker and still has room to improve as a player. hopefully he gets that jumper back to 05-09 form and works on the spot up 3.
