Being a Magic fan I hate to see Dwight go to the Lakers like Shaq did. But I really think Dwight will fall in love with all the celebs and glitter and big market exposure. Sadly I think he will resign with the Lakers.

No one is ahead..Who knows what will happen...

However these seem like the facts that we have found out tonight:

-Lopez is staying in NJ
-Bynum has not said that he will resign with Orlando
-Orlando has not spoken to Bynum
-Orlando wants picks and cap relief

This may all change within the next 24hrs or so but here's where things stand...

John Hollinger ‏@johnhollinger

Again, people: Cleveland isn't providing picks to trade for a player it can sign for free. Any picks are going the other way.

Which is how Rudolph reported the trade and I've interpreted it as well. Of course Cleveland gets picks. Meanwhile this is good. Hollinger has been wrong about everything Nets related this off-season.

Hardwood Paroxysm ‏@HPbasketball

The Nets need to send a player to a team to get a player to send to a team to get picks to send to CLE, and another to send to ORL.

Hardwood Paroxysm ‏@HPbasketball

OR, they need to find a team who wants to take on salary from ORL while also sending CLE a pick to take Hump.

Hardwood Paroxysm ‏@HPbasketball

Does anyone want to take on Hedo Turkoglu's contract for a first rounder? If so, Billy King has a Sundiata Gaines sign-and-trade for you!

David Wiess ‏@WiessD
Lakers who have Bynum not as desperate to get Howard as the Nets; Magic perfer trade w/ Lakers where they get Bynum, hence the false leak.

12m David Wiess ‏@WiessD
The @DwightHoward trade is turning into a game of high stakes poker between the Magic, Nets & Lakers. Will be interesting to see who wins.

17m David Wiess ‏@WiessD
Source: Reports of Howard being traded to the Nets was deliberately leaked by Magic to try to gain leverage in trade talks with the Lakers.

This is the same guy who said the deal would be done by this weekend, and no one in the AP knows who he is...so...
