If it directly hurts the team I root for, I do. However, my point is that it's a BS reason. It's not the case. This is all about Dolan being douchebag.

We refuse to negotiate with Lin. Tell him to set market price. Leak that we'll match anything. He gets exactly the offer expected; we have a change of heart.
if your going to make statements make correct ones.
the "verbal" agreement was a deal a little easier to swallow...neither was refuted from the Rockets or Lin's camp. So the Knicks were working on the pretenses that it was a 3 year 19 million dollar offer with a 9 million 3rd year instead of 3 years 25 million with a 15 million dollar kicker.
lin has every right to do that but don't act like Lin is innocent here...he wanted money over NY

A) Knicks underachieve
B) Nets overachieve
C) Lin continues to impress in Houston
We'll set a record for most fans lost in a year.
Now since we're playing with imaginary scenarios let's try this sequence
A) Knicks overachieve
B) Nets underachieve
C) Lin levels out as a solid PG but not great
Cool game.

Your right, I'm thinking MLB. Lin was considered a 2nd year player last year
We have people throwing out stuff like "if Lin is so good why didn't he win player of the month??" "Why didn't he win all-NBA 3rd Team?" But the "why didn't he make the all-rookie team?" Takes the cake as far as silly ways of dismissing Lin's performance last year.

Well you did say he played better than Shump & Melo, if that's the case some sort of accomplishment would have to show for it.
