If it directly hurts the team I root for, I do. However, my point is that it's a BS reason. It's not the case. This is all about Dolan being douchebag.

Come on. That's a line you don't want to cross, man.

if your going to make statements make correct ones.

the "verbal" agreement was a deal a little easier to swallow...neither was refuted from the Rockets or Lin's camp. So the Knicks were working on the pretenses that it was a 3 year 19 million dollar offer with a 9 million 3rd year instead of 3 years 25 million with a 15 million dollar kicker.

lin has every right to do that but don't act like Lin is innocent here...he wanted money over NY

I'm making statements on game theory not hearsay over what was or wasn't promised. When you scream to the hills you'll match anything, a smart GM will challenge that and make you pay. You man up and pay the man for your own incompetence. You don't blame him for acting like a businessman in a situation you forced him into. It's petty, childish, and laughable.

Why would you put Lin off the ball?

lol

He's the best passer and creator we have.

Nothing here makes sense except Lin is heading out the door and we're ready to make that happen.

 The backlash is going to be second to none.

Just like everyone was moving to Canada when Obama was elected. People like to talk a big game but all of you who were here before Lin who say you will stop being Knick fans if they dont match, will be back for the first preseason game, quit frontin.

Idk how to feel about that since I lost family to that, but I'm pretty sure it's not that serious :o

A) Knicks underachieve

We'll set a record for most fans lost in a year.

Now since we're playing with imaginary scenarios let's try this sequence

A) Knicks overachieve
B) Nets underachieve
C) Lin levels out as a solid PG but not great

Cool game.

All I'm saying is that the downside here is very significant. With a lot of moves, there's no conceivable scenario where mass-fan-exodus is plausible. Here that actually could happen.

Your right, I'm thinking MLB. Lin was considered a 2nd year player last year

We have people throwing out stuff like "if Lin is so good why didn't he win player of the month??" "Why didn't he win all-NBA 3rd Team?" But the "why didn't he make the all-rookie team?" Takes the cake as far as silly ways of dismissing Lin's performance last year.

Well you did say he played better than Shump & Melo, if that's the case some sort of accomplishment would have to show for it. :dontknow:

I don't agree with that line of thinking but that's why they said it.

Playing better than Anthony could be up for debate I guess - I think he did - but are you really questioning whether he played better than Shumpert?
