folks need to look at the stock on July 5th (news of the first offer sheet) when the stock was 39 dollars...
looks like the market has already priced in a what if scenario....
although I can see a sharp 1 to 3 dollar drop if Lin is not matched...
it could go the other way...
old adage is you "buy on rumor sell on news..."
in this case it would be sell on rumor, buy back on news
