Rooting against the Knicks? You're a pathetic joke. I'm sorry.

I pray that Shump is back when we play Hous. I look forward to Shump breaking the steals record for a single game.
And then Camby, Tyson, Kurt putting Lin on his ass if he dares to drive.

The problem is the Nuggets were actually a good team, and very fun to watch.
The Rockets, if they don't get Howard, are going to be tanking. Lin's purpose there is to sell tickets and keep Houston a semi-desirable destination even when they win 25 games. And if worst comes to worst, Lin is still an asset to trade while the Knicks try to find ways to bring in more 40 year olds next year because "this is finally our chance to win it all"
I know and people will still claim the Rockets are better

Lin brought us back to life last year, it was breathtaking. However, it was such a small sample size, and the risk/reward on the Rockets deal for us to match was probably stacked further in the risk scenario. I understand why Dolan let him walk, i get it, but part of me also is mad as hell.
I don't think we will get a true reflection on the risk/reward until year 3 of this deal, and thats what the discussion over matching would have been.
Sad day either way.

The Asik, Lin contracts will not impact talks with Magic, per source. Talks on trade for Dwight Howard have taken those deals into account.
