Rooting against the Knicks? You're a pathetic joke. I'm sorry.

I pray that Shump is back when we play Hous. I look forward to Shump breaking the steals record for a single game.

And then Camby, Tyson, Kurt putting Lin on his ass if he dares to drive.

for knicks fans...what's the point?

your roster is comprised of:

1. a 40 year old woman abusing drunk driving pg
2. a thug from jersey that douses women with water in clubs, gets into "incidents" there and is suspended by the team
3. a pf that talks all day long and goes missing in the playoffs b/c of a dunk in practice and a fight with a fire extinguisher
4. a $20+ mil franchise SF that had the knicks gut their entire team so he can get his moneys

outside of shumpert, every single knick player is on the decline. melo is in his prime.

multiple year contracts to 40 year olds.

as a fan...i mean a real fan, what exactly has kept you watching this team?

my goodness man...the guy that paid luxury for jerome james + steve francis decides now is the time to stop?

The problem is the Nuggets were actually a good team, and very fun to watch.

The Rockets, if they don't get Howard, are going to be tanking. Lin's purpose there is to sell tickets and keep Houston a semi-desirable destination even when they win 25 games. And if worst comes to worst, Lin is still an asset to trade while the Knicks try to find ways to bring in more 40 year olds next year because "this is finally our chance to win it all"

I know and people will still claim the Rockets are better

There's a good chance that Lin will put up numbers in an offense where he's the focal point. Unfortunately, it'll be on a losing team so I can see the NY writers like Isola and SAS saying "Well sure he's putting up numbers, but what's the Rockets record? He's putting up numbers on a bad team".

WOW. JR is such a snake. Re-tweeting all those messages of Lin's exit while sitting next to Dolan and Woodson. WTF. WTF. This organization is a JOKE. When JR gets paid next year...all because he's a "company man"...because he chums it up with Dolan...

Dolan is just another rich kid with self-esteem issues that uses his money to buy friends. That's really all it boils down to. He let Isiah RUN THE FRANCHISE INTO THE GROUND because they were "friends". Lin didn't want to be his friend and now he's willing to run the franchise into the ground AGAIN.

Im kind of torn on this to be honest.

Lin brought us back to life last year, it was breathtaking. However, it was such a small sample size, and the risk/reward on the Rockets deal for us to match was probably stacked further in the risk scenario. I understand why Dolan let him walk, i get it, but part of me also is mad as hell.

I don't think we will get a true reflection on the risk/reward until year 3 of this deal, and thats what the discussion over matching would have been.

Sad day either way.

Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen
The Asik, Lin contracts will not impact talks with Magic, per source. Talks on trade for Dwight Howard have taken those deals into account.

Thought deliberations were over?

Ben Golliver: Owner James Dolan & front office have plans to meet after Knicks' Las Vegas Summer League game, which is currently in 3rd quarter

They just wanna discuss restructuring JR's contract to give him an extra $8m a year.
