that's not my issue... i don't think lin will even become elite. i think his absolute best case scenario is a solid starting PG. with that said, it doesn't make any sense to not match the deal and trade him later. he is an asset. letting him go for nothing is idiotic in my opinion.
i'm not capologist or expert on the new CBA... but unless matching severely hampers the knicks ability to make moves in the future, whether it be dumping amare or trading lin, then i don't see why he won't be matched other than it being a personal thing by dolan which is again, idiotic.
