It's all good man, lots of us getting caught in the emotional collateral damage caused by these events. I might change my avi and sig to see if responses I get are different. Social experiment

The official motto of RealGM.

Everyone that has left Orlando has come to regret it and wish they were involved with the team again and they all still live here.
Bad luck?

The Magic in 8 years never put a good team around D12. That's on management. But, that's not to say D12 was never taken care of by Rich DeVos. Shaq was given more money in LA. T-Mac had a terrible relationship with a GM who used to be a hockey player (yes, a hockey player was our GM). Penny's knees were shot and PHX bit.
With that said, I'll always defend Orlando. It's a great cityIf you've only been to Disney, then you've never really been to Orlando. Great place to live.

Dirk, Kobe and Duncan had stuck it out through some rough stretches? When? I don't remember Spurs and Mavs ever missing playoffs and Lakers have missed it only once during their careers.

1. Agents and their agendas (Fegan a powerful agent failed at getting his biggest client what he wanted)
2. Media spin/Reputation (Superstars aren't happy, want out and the team doesn't help)
3. Dwightmare
4, Ownership (Amway is NOT a quality company, nor should they have vetoed a Dwight trade)
5. GM (rookie 30 y/o kid who succeeded GM in O.Smith)
6. Not an appealing city, esp. as of late. (overshadowed by Miami, full of retirees)
However, they have a chance to overcome all of that with the right Dwight trade and pieces from Houston or Cleveland in a 3 way with LA.
The one thing I give them credit on... not caving to Dwight and Brooklyn. Ironic for me to say that, I know.

1. Orlando has sent every player that wants out to a good situation. They dont screw them over, but they wont take complete garbage for a top 5 player.
2. Media has been killing Dwight Howard just as much.
3. See 2, he has destroyed his image by dissing his team and flip-floping. Lebron has to love it.
4. Devos is a good owner who has been completely behind trying to build a winner. Huge cap totals out of a small market dont show me a owner that does not care. Who cares about Amway he and his family have tons of money, do we care how the other owners make thier money?
5. 30 year old kid that came up through both the spurs and OKC. Groomed by Presti. Guess we should have hired some 50 year old former player becouse that means you will be good?
6. I guess you have not been to Orlando, there is just about anything a single person or family could want to do. Many players from all sports still call the Orlando area home. FYI it is Florida there are old poeple living all over the state.
Not trying to attack your post, but people are saying Orlando is going to have a hard time getting players to come play. Every single time Orlando has had cap room they have been in the running and in most cases came away with the player they desired.
