If LeBron James , Chris Bosh or anyone else plays out their contract and opts to exercise their rights as a free agent and go play elsewhere it might sting as a fan, but I assure you I would not act like some jilted high school girlfriend or be arrogant enough to think their career decision had anything whatsoever to do with me. Only in sports can teams cut you and trade you and no says a word but if a player opts to play somewhere else fans take it as a personal insult. Ultimately I dont really care why Ray left the Celts or what his former fans think of his ability. I just hope he hits those wide open three pointers he will get next year... and if he does not there are several other shooters waiting to come in the game and take those shots. It's all good.

One day, LeBron James(or maybe one of the other 2 guys) is going to leave Miami to play for the <Insert team here> with 3 prime superstars, who just came off from beating Miami 2 straight years while Wade and Bosh are aging..when this day comes, and IT WILL, you will understand how most of us feel. What Miami fans don't understand is that Ray didn't go there to win, he went there to kick Danny Ainge, Rajon Rondo and most people in Boston right in the nuts, because he felt he didn't get enough credit, love, praise or wtf ever, here as the other guys did. What is a better way to get back at everybody you're mad at then to make them beg for you to stay and then turn around and go play with the guys they hate the most? But hey..he's right. He's no Kevin Garnett, he's certainly no Paul Pierce, he was completely swallowed up by Rondo as the 3rd star on the team and he pretty much sucked to a point where Bradley and Pietrus were both better options than him. Remember game 4 when Wade took that shot over Marquis Daniels at the buzzer? Yeah well, Daniels was out there because Doc felt Ray could not get the job done defensively in that moment. As for winning, we all feel like we can win. You guys have a longer window to do it, but I don't think we are heading into different directions just yet. When the ball goes up in the air and the season tips off, it's title or bust for both teams.[/quote]
