*Deep Breath*
I'm 16, and my join date is 2012[Just to stop the stereotype that only "old men" think that this decision was total bull ****], and this has been one of my lowest moment as a Knicks fan. Yes, because of my young age I do not remember vividly the wonderful 1999 run, I wasn't even alive for the 94 run, I admit it. That doesn't mean I can't do my homework, that doesn't mean that I have a brain and can see that Dolan doesn't. That doesn't mean that this decision was total bull ****. What could you guys think of an explanation from Dolan out of this?I see one of four things
#1-
Reporter- Why didn't you match the offer for Jeremy Lin?
Dolan- His contract was too big for me, I couldn't take it on
Reporter- Well, you've overpaid people other people, and it's pretty likely you still get your orders from Isiah. You also made one of the best GMs of all time step down, and **** up the Rangers season too, what do you have to say about this?
Dolan- no comment
#2-
Reporter- Why didn't you match the offer for Jeremy Lin?
Dolan- We have enough point guard depth, We have 3 studs, we didn't need him.
Reporter- Well, one of them is 28 and has been out of shape for 2 years now and is coming off the worst season of his career, the other is a 35 year old rookie, and the other one is a 38 year old wife abusing Drunk, what do you have to say about this?
Dolan- no comment

Reporter- Why didn't you match the offer for Jeremy Lin?
Dolan- He tried to stick it to me, I got him back, haha **** YOU!!!!
Reporter-.....
#4[Most likely]
Reporter- Why didn't you match the offer for Jeremy Lin?
Dolan- No comment
Honestly, as Mr_Perfect has pointed out over and over. What has happened since Dolan took over as owner?1 2nd round and conference finals[the year right after he took over], and a grand total of 3 playoff wins. This isn't the worst move Dolan has made by any means, but as many people have brought up already[like people in this thread or Jay Caspian King from grantland], you lost a 23 year old "asset" for nothing. Seriously, nothing. You had the upper hand too, and you got played.
As for Carmelo, I'm a big supporter of him. I believe that story about the UK bar that some poster in here said, but he was shaking his head at him for taking his "ridiculous" contract comment the wrong way. I believe that Melo, while lazy on defense, isn't a ballhog/cancer/piece of **** and worthless. If you asked me to do that trade for him again, I'd do that in a heart beat. STAT is a completely different story but I don't want to rip him in this thread
JR Smith, I don't have a problem with his "thug" personality. Stephen Jackson is known the same way, and Tim Duncan called him the "ultimate teammate", Tim Duncan called a "thug" that. It's the fact that he's inefficient, spends most of his nights at clubs[at tweets about it], isn't very good on defense[he tries though], and just brings the wrong image to this team
I'm not going to stop supporting the Knicks, and neither are 90% of the other Knicks fans. Dolan lucked out that he got the most loyal fanbase in sports, and that we'll still go to Knicks games and watch them on MSG even with this bull ****.
I can't wait until the one night Felton has a triple double[if that even happens], and the Rockets lose a game with Lin starting. You might as well close this board down until the next game. As for the **** You's
**** you Dolan
**** you JR Smith
**** you Dolan
**** you Amar'e Stoudemire
**** you Dolan
**** all the Knick "fans" that are going to support Brooklyn
**** you Dolan
and for good measure, **** you Isiah!
