I could see him wanting to stay in Orlando over going to Houston. If he goes to Houston he is right back into a rebuilding situation. This complicates things for Houston because they would be giving up some good things in order to rent him. Bynum on the other hand hasnt made a fuss about wanting to go to a contender. In reality, the Magic are stuck between a rock and a hardspot. Unless Houston really thinks they can really retain Howard, they will probably go after Bynum getting LA involved. This could work out better for all parties b/c it allows Orlando to send out more bad contracts.
If we were to get Bynum we'd still have to give up some good things for him to, while ending up with the lesser player and making the competition a dynasty team. A team that we'd have to go through to accomplish our main goal, a championship. Thats just stupid to me. We upgrade from a Mustang to a Corvette but help our opponent get a Ferrari. Now lets go out and beat them.

Bynum isn't only the lesser player, i dont believe he really cares about being the best. Howard maybe a few things but he gives 100% on the court unlike Bynum. Would anyone be surprised if Bynum got injured 3-4 out of 5 years or got fat and lazy after signing a max contract here? I like the Rockets lottery chances alot more than the possibly of Bynum staying in Houston, staying healthy, and improving his game enough to be the #1 on a championship team.
