Exactly. And from what I've gathered, Rob is aiming for 2014 cap space.
No. They just see jameer nelson and they overreact.

Also, once Dwight went down with the injury, he averaged about 17 PPG and 9 APG. He really stepped up once Dwight was out.

Said it before, say it again, - cap floor. If we start shedding guys like J-Rich, BBD or Hedo alongside the $19.5m Dwight is owed in a trade, and repopulating our roster with guys on rookie deals (which seems to be what Henny wants) having a guy like Jameer who is overpaid is going to be a necessity just to reach the NBA's minimum salary spend. And he's deal doesn't seem to be that bad, in that yes, he's overpaid, but at least it's short (3 years, and you just know Otis would have been thinking four or five), and the last year is only partially guaranteed.

At least respond with facts instead of pictures. Jameer was actuated pretty good after a slow start. He also played well in the po's so not sure what youre "laughing" at.

Yeesh never thought I'd see a GM destroy a team as bad as Otis did. All the lack of talent, big contracts, no draft picks....it's an ugly situation.

Don't see how that's funny. He's just building a bad reputation around the league. Wasting other peoples time is not a good way to start you GM career. You want a good relationship with other teams around the league.

Next off-season Duhon and Turk only have semi-guaranteed contracts, so that will help, if D12 changes his mind again.
According to the Denton link above - "If the Magic can’t clear any existing salary off their books, they will have approximately $18.6 million to spend on free agents next summer"
That's a MAX, no?

Why does anyone say he is overpaid? Jameer has been an amazing member and teammate for the Orlando Magic. He hasn't been a player we have regretted having. At least the smart people think that. He had led teambuilding camps every summer to help out and has been a positive influence all around. I would LOVE for us to be good enough and have him as our 6th man. He would be an amazing spark off the bench and against others backups. So I am not saying he should be the starter. Bu I do feel he is worth the money he is being paid! IMO at least haha.
