I think the hate for Miller stems from his broadcasting career afterwards. The man carried a mediocre Pacers team year after year and dominated in the playoffs. Doesn't matter, I was stoked to get him to pair with Scottie, ya bunch of haters

hey, don't get us (or at least me) wrong, there's nothing wrong with Reggie and I'm not a hater. But it just seems that you're overrating Reggie.

By no means is he the perfect shooting guard not named Michael Jordan (plenty of people already mentioned how Miller excelled at shooting, but didn't add anything more to the table).

He's clutch and he had a knock for making clutch jumpers, but don't exaggerate. Reggie had plenty of horrible game 7's, but since he had the famous 8 points in 9 seconds and the "Spike Lee" fourth quarter against New York the media over-hyped him as a great playoffs player. You can find plenty of poor playoffs performances by Miller.

There are a few shooting guards left who I'd take over Miller.

Add me to the list of people who don't hate Reggie, far from it in fact.

I have all sorts of admiration for him, his insane efficiency, and his career achievements. I'm just personally hesitant to call him the perfect SG not named Michael Jordan. I think he's a great fit for a do it all wing like Pippen.

Who do you envision as the first option?

Theres not gonna be a first option with many of these teams. MVP year Barkley was obviously a first option in Phoenix, Jordanless Pippen was a first option, and Reggie was a very clear first option as well. My goal with my team is to create a team where there is no liability, defensive or offensive, when any combination of players are on the floor. I can't go the alpha dog route because I didn't have a top 8 pick. Miller is a more than capable defender and an unstoppable pick and pop shooter and I would consider him a top 20 player for players in the league after '78

In keeping with my theme of "Guys who would go out of their way to embarrass you", I feel like it's time to take the guy who made a living putting fools on a highlight reel. He was one of the most violent dunkers and transition players to ever lace up a pair of sneakers, and was generally a tremendous player who never got the respect he deserved because he didn't have the supporting cast to break through a stacked Celtics squad.

That won't be an issue playing off Shaq and Isiah.
