Definitely agree with your quote, I think people are way too over in their head about comparing him to superstardom or the soon to be Lebron or Durant or Kobe company. His game reminds me of Gay but that doesn't mean he's going to be Gay, just the way he plays athletically on the court, and obviously he'll likely add more to his arsenal in the future and make him a version of Gay and whoever else. Right now the Gay 2.0 is already a high praise because a caliber of Gay 2.0 is in Carmelo's tier that's 2nd tier in SFs, if that's not good enough praise then I don't know what is :dontknow:

Was literally just going to say this, god I hope. But, didn't Kobe's agent just tell the other teams if they drafted him he wasn't gonna show up? I don't remember anything about a trade.

No prospect has been as highly rated as Wiggins since LBJ remember Durant wasn't number 1. If he was in 2012/13,2013/14 or 2014/15 rated #!. If he could have been in this years draft he would have been drafted ahead of Davis.

I don't want to burst your bubble because I'm hoping Wiggins is a star, but he would not have been drafted ahead of Davis this year. The Brow is going to impact the game on the defensive side of things like only a handful of players can. Big men who have that kind of impact on defense are hard to pass up for a small forward. Davis is also one of those big men, like Howard and Griffin, who dunk every time they get the chance. That's going to be one high percentage shot in the next couple years, if not immediately. Wiggins may be great, but Davis would be taken ahead of him any day. Just my opinion.

I hope he goes to FSU first - I am a huge fan of FSU football and little bit of FSU basketball. I know that both of his parents went there and FSU is high on his list and Xavier Rathan-Mayes is also really considering them too.

You did not even dent the bubble let alone burst it.

There is a severe lack of elite talent at the three..

His ability could out project KD.. wether he achieves it is on him, but all the tools are there.

AD was not even the consensus number 1 pick at Wiggins age, or even at the start of last year.

You forget he's a young Canadian star, people are expecting Jordan no less.

I like the Gay comparison, I had that in my mind for a long while now as thats more or less what I exoect him to be when he gets to the league. I had the chance to see him play during the Hoop Summit game and damn those youtube clips dont do him justice. His speed and power is crazy. I'll be curious to see if he can become a post threat ala Lebron but man I'm excited for team Canada.

He stated that if Wiggins had been in the draft this past JUNE 2012 that he would have went ahead of Davis. To say that with certainty is incorrect (some teams may have).

Where AD was as a prospect during August 2010 or November 2011 is totally irrelevant, so I'm not sure why you bring it up. The only time frame that matters with respect to that comment was June 2012.

That's not to say that he can't develop into a better prospect

I don't see what's wrong with the comparison to Rudy Gay either because if Andrew Wiggins can ball like Rudy Gay right now that's one hell of a prospect at 17 years old.

He already has a wet jumper and if he continues to work on his back to the basket game instead of always doing the "chicken wing"/spin for the right handed jump hook, he's going to be even a bigger threat. A hop-step going into a dunk would be nasty with his hops :droop:

Standard for youtube. Is unable to use he's, so instead uses his, but is supremely confident in his projection of wiggins as a non-nba talent   .

But I guess People think ALL of ONTARIO is TORONTO. :-?

Cross Steeles Ave and you're in Toronto. If we were talking about Tristan Thompson or Corey Joseph (both also from the burbs), they too were considered Torontonians. It's called the "Greater Toronto Area" for a reason.

Don't like it? Too bad.

Stay in your "city above" with it's new "Metropolitan Station" in the middle of nothing.

lol why all the hate to Vaughan, I live in Vaughan and its great. After all if you want to be specific Wiggins is actually from Vaughan which is part of York Region. Back on topic, I know his family personally and seen him play multiple times and he will be great not just because he is very talnted but because he has a great supportive parents who will keep him humble and encourage him to keep working hard despite all the hype. Although I don't think he will be at LeBron's or Durent's level. I see a slightly better version of Iggy in him

Well even the consultant hired by Portland recomended passing on Oden but Pritchard and the ownership wanted Oden.
