I almost took him at 103 and I don't drink. I read too many articles saying he might be out for the year.

Originally, I thought I would take him at 120 and thought that is too high, so then I thought 160, finally I decided if he were still there are 200 I would grab him.

I think it is a great pick, if everyone else on your roster remains healthy, But if you have one or two additional players out it is a killer.

really like Tristan Thompson pick
I was targeting him #153
don´t really understand why yahoo have him ranked #317 ?!?!!?? they pick him @cafe´s 149 and Espn dumbass have him #119

I think it´s a good value pick between 125-150 after that it would be a steal imo

So fran hates on safe picks and hates on risky picks.

A mod might want to change the title of the draft thread...everyone in the title name has picked.

I hope you are all happy...making me take Billups again like that...it's just cruel. I'm terrified of this Achilles thing, but there pickings are very slim...If I had a pick about 6 picks sooner i'd be in a much better place.

Thompson would not have made it past me at 136. Great pick. Probably a top 100 talent by the end of the year.
It's getting to be slim pickins though.

I am looking to trade up... 180+181 are available for a pick in the 130's and your last pick.

We draft at a snails pace on weekends. But i'm not complaining, I don't have a pick for awhile.

Actually, I'm not either even though my pick is in 6 picks because I just got back from a boy scout campout with my son and I'm exhausted. If I don't pick until tomorrow night, I'll be good.

Better pick: Brandon Roy or Derick Rose?

YOU MAKE THE CALL!

not defending my pick (and I don't need to, since there is no buyer's remorse right now), just my point of view for the Roy-Rose comparison.

I think the two are very different, you can expect something like 50 games with top 120 performance from Roy (but it may not happen) and his ceiling is 70 something games with top 80 performance. (but there is a chance he retires after 10 games as well)

on the other hand, you are guaranteed to get nothing from Rose for 50 or 60 games. and there is a risk that he may not return, or return and get only 20 mpg. So the risk level for rose isn't really worth it in my opinion. that's just my 2 cents.

Since 5 or 6 playoff caliber teams were interested in Roy, I thought "hey all those teams can't be stupid, I guess his knees are better than 2 seasons ago" and then I saw him make 5 shots in row from 5 different spots in his first practice. then I had to grab him.

it's extremely risky to pick him, that's for sure. but at least more risk worthy than Rose IMHO, that's why I targeted rose at 170s and grabbed Roy at 134. but hey, since I'm no doctor, I can't say anything about Roy's knees, only hope they will hold up.

I was going to go Dunleavy at 129 then Rush at 152, but I chickened out. I think Rush will have the better year and despite him being worse than 150 in mocks, I didn't trust him to fall here.

@floopy i had 2 pick bettween your 2 and i would pick brush
@ rose/broy question - I would pass both but I think at least broy have a chance to suit up and play
@"Actually, I'm not either even though my pick is in 6 picks because I just got back from a boy scout campout with my son and I'm exhausted. If I don't pick until tomorrow night, I'll be good." probably some guys will take full 8h since that is not a problem at its even good if that happends

Don't everyone pick at once...
