Hawks will do this trade because they are on rebuilding mode and they'll get a young promising player by Alexey Shved! Devin Ebanks will also have a chance to show his skills.
Twolves would do it and give up Shved because they'll have a Legit C to pair w/ KLove and they have AK47 on the wing or at SF

no thanks to Josh Smith. He will need the max which in no way we should give it to him and 2 he's a worse fit for D'Antoni's system than Pau since he's a worse mid range shooter than Pau is. He's also a terrible decision maker with low bball IQ and I sure don't want to pair him up with Metta on the same lineup. that's just asking for disaster.

The right trade is something where Philly gets Gasol, the Lakers get Millsap/Hawes/Wright, and the Jazz get value for Millsap.

If we did want to get perfect value for Gasol and send him to Philly, we should have included him in the Howard trade and demanded someone like Iguodola back, he's on last year of his contract and fits the age and athleticism part perfectly. Of course having both Gasol and Bynum on contract would push them towards cap concerns soon.

Utah gets Pau and Dalembert to replace AlJeff and allow Kanter some time to develop plus a solid SF prospect in Harris, while not adding a lot of long term salary and avoiding buying out Bell. All of their outgoings were expiring anyway, and I don't think they had interest in retaining any of them.

Bucks get a legit C in AlJeff and a backup PG in Duhon without taking a long term salary hit. Obviously contingent on Jefferson being willing to re-sign there.

Yeah, they might not. It was more of a thought than anything... But I think Pau is a better/more effective fit for their team than AlJeff and with Dalembert off the bench, they could be set. I also think Harris would be a good pickup for them.
