I don't see the Clippers losing to the Nuggets and definitely not to the Celtics at home. I think the Jazz at home will be a problem for them. Its possible that they won't lose a game this entire month. :o

I hate it when a team goes on a long winning streak. I just want to see them get blown out even if it means a win to one of our rivals.

I had a feeling the Clippers were going to continue to improve. They're a talented, deep team. I've got them and OKC in the WCF.

Seems like a lock right now. Can't wait for the Dwight drama in the summer.

Lin has knack for making his teammates play teamball.

Obviously, everyone knows he's unselfish, but he just has this ability to naturally make you be unselfish too. The Rockets keep moving the ball and their teamball is absolutely dismantling some of the best defenses this week (Grizz and now Bulls).

I think his teammates are inspired by how he insisted on deferring to Harden much of the early regular season, and when Harden was sidelined, he dropped 38pts on Spurs. Obviously Lin had the ability to be a star, but he insisted on playing teamball that he put them achieving as a team first over him achieving as a player.

Lin, the absolute Knicks' hope of "play the right way" basketball that is no longer... Knicks'. :(

IMO, Lin has a higher ceiling then Felton (just for the record, I'm in the "upset we didn't re-sign him" camp) but I know Woodson didn't trust him with the ball due to his propensity for TOs. That's a big no no. A prototypical Mike Woodson point guard for example would have better experience, on ball defense and ball protection.

I think it worked well for all parties involved: Lin plays with a young team that he can grow with, where he can afford to make mistakes (and he will make A LOT of them) and we land Prigs, KT, Camby, Brewer and Kidd on a vet savvy team to fill out our bench with Woodson compatible players. But I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't miss Lin's penetration, rebounding and court vision though.

Harden was getting over-excited his first few games with Rockets by going isos, Rockets lost most of those games and after 2 sizzling superstar starts, Harden's shooting % started to go down.

Lin was absolutely deferring to Harden by giving him the ball and letting him go solo, it hit his game hard as we saw Lin average 10ppg on like 38% shooting in first month of season.

Then Harden was sidelined with injury and Lin dropped 38pts on Spurs. You can almost hear them saying to him, "you mean you can do THIS? So, what have you been doing all along??"

You can see as soon as Lin passes to his teammates, he moves AWAY from them. This is called giving space/ spacing, room for them to operate/ do their thing. It also gives his teammates a sense that Lin trusts them that they can do something with the ball. You give trust, you get trust back. And after a month of sacrifice, Lin is essentially reaping the rewards (benefit of doubt) that he's a team player and his teammates can trust that if they give Lin the ball, they'd get it back, and they do not have negative voice that says, "Lin wants to be a man"...

This is all a result of actions from pure unselfish intention from Lin. A player with the intention of being the man but passes the ball to mask his intention is going to show his true colors sooner or later.

But is Felton a prototypical Mike Woodson PG? I sure hope not the way he's jacking up bricks.

Ray's been forcing the issue recently - even Kidd is telling him to slow down. He's just now shooting at his career avg which shouldn't be that shocking.. he's simply not a 2nd option.

Just have to hope he smartens up when Amar'e comes back.

Lin's "I'm playing terribly" comment had the exact opposite effect of Marbury's "I'm the best point guard in the league" comment. All of a sudden everybody was looking for each other. It's funny, because their skillset is more similar than you would think. Lin is playing great right now. Wish he was doing it for us but... well... it is what it is. And I think Felton shooting (not scoring!) will come in handy. But good for them figuring out how to work together.

Felton is essentially playing shooting guard right now with Kidd playing the Fisher role (spotting up for 3s and moving the ball if plan A doesn't work). It's not a great look for either player but it's what we're forced into because teams are taking away the 3 ball. A whole different game is about to develop with Stat back but we just have to wait for that to happen. Felton will have a different role for sure. He is being told to be this way and though he could be doing it smarter it's just who Felton is. A pit bull.

Seems like the Rockets have been the cause of quite a few "most points X team has allowed this season"... Bulls, Grizzlies and I think us just recently.

They kinda remind me of the D'Antoni philosophy of forgetting about defense and just get more points than the other team.

I just saw the highlights of the Clippers game and J. Crawford is having a huge impact on that team. If only we had the ability to sign him this past summer. The Clipper bench is loaded and if Billups recovers they will be a real threat to win the Western Conference Finals. They have a 14 game winning streak, they are for real.

In the Timberwolves broadcast, one of the "keys to the game" vs Houston tonight is "Contain Harden, Lin and Douglas." Who would have thought it?

The Pistons were down 19 points to start the 4th quarter, on the road in ATL.

They outscored the Hawks 39-20 to send the game to OT. Currently 110-108 Hawks with 3:45 left in DOUBLE OT...
