The problem I have is that these Lin homers were the same ones who were dissing the Knicks all off season about how we gave up our only chance at a title now that the mighty lin is gone. How we were old. How Felton was fat. How Melo was overrated. How this team would amount to nothing.
Now that they have been proven wrong they still are on this board talking up their bs. Where were they when Lin was having abysmal games to begin the season? Oh yeah nowhere.
Actually, I maintain that if the Knicks signed Lin instead of Felton they would have a chance at a championship this year or next. Nobody has been proven wrong so just stop with the hyperbolic statements. We will never know what Lin would have done on the Knicks regardless of what happens this season. But the truth of the matter is that Lin is on an upward trajectory this season while Felton is on a downward trajectory.
The only time the "Lin fanboys" or whatever post here is when certain posters bash him for every poor game he has. I am not even the biggest Lin fan- I just can't stand when good guys get unnecessary hate from small minded posters who have anger issues.
Cope out at its finest. Since he is not a Knick, you can say Lin would have averaged 20/10/10 as a Knick with this team, and since we will never know no one can prove you wrong. If you think I am going to fall for that you are a bigger moron that I thought.
Here is one. If Harden had never been traded to the Rockets. Lin would have been the focus of the defenses of other teams and would have averaged 2pts, 2rbs, 2asts and 10 TOs. I contend that. And since we Harden did get traded to the Rockets, is the 1st option and the focus of other team's defenses, since we will never know, I haven't been nor will I ever be proven wrong. See how that works both ways?
Now to get back to reality. Felton has bone bruises in both hands which is when his play went into a downward trajectory. He can't handle, pass or shoot the ball correctly. Bone bruises affect your range of motion in your hands.
But of course in your little pea brain you don't look at the big picture. You just say "oh Felton is in a downward trajectory" and forget to include his injuries in BOTH hands. Yet when Lin was playing bad there was every ridiculous excuse in the book. (he is not 100% yet, its the coach, its his teammates, its the sun, its the high tide, its the color of the uniforms, its the guy on row 13 section 34 who is eating his popcorn to loud)
I just can't stand it when players who have proven nothing get overrated by unintelligent posters who try to make idiotic arguments. Maybe that works with the low IQ folks you know but not here.
