If MKG could develop a solid midrange, (and fix that broken stroke) he would be such a solid player. The problem is that he isn't a scorer and it kills the first team offense. Outside of Kemba there is no first squad scoring unless Hendo starts. We don't even need to get MKG thinking about the three ball, we just need to have him be able to make a wide open look, just to gain respect from the defense. That is what will open up the floor, leading to us scoring more points. The problem is right now, MKG gets the ball about 20 feet out, he thinks for a second and then passes it right back to Kemba and other teams know it. I love his defense, but we really need to get working in the off-season on his jump-shot, and lets's not forget the kid was drafted at 19, PLENTY of time to improve his NBA game.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere
