There is no doubt that Jim and Jeanie, separately, love the Lakers.
Whether they love each other the way that they love their father ... that's another issue.
If there is indeed some mechanism for freeing some of the children to sell their shares – and bear in mind how severe inheritance taxes can be – it's not hard to imagine some wanting to.

The potential scenarios are nearly endless. There are groups reportedly buzzing about ready should the Buss family want to sell, although I had been told years ago that AEG (owners of Staples Center and a percentage of the Lakers) had first right of refusal. Of course, AEG is up for sale and parts may be broken off, making the situation all the more complex.
We've dropped the ball as an organization as a whole this season. That includes the Front office, players, management and coaching. This is real folks and the health of Jerry Buss is a huge concern. It seems the siblings arent gonna be able to continue to run this team with continued success. smh
