Nope, no one really had a problem with getting Melo they wanted him to go to free agency so we could have kept EVERYTHING, even though that wasn't gonna happen on either account....Gallo was merely a piece that folks highlighted as was gonna grow into a star player, when at best he's a 3rd piece player.
With Lin, there are quite a few that feel Lin will be great, not just solid, and was given away for free, and if he didn't pan out, you can EASILY find someone willing to take a 15 mil expiring contract.
