I'm tired of pissing matches with you - because that's all they ever are. However:

He didn't say he didn't hear it. He said, "How do you know? He's never said one way or the other."
MaceCase wrote:Beyond that, it's a rather well known fact that Vecsey lost all credibility as a sports reporter with credible inside sources a decade ago. His word means nada especially when you are reading twitter timeline with numerous others correcting him.
No offense, but who are you again?
MaceCase wrote:2nd, you have to be kidding thinking I was unaware of that. If you search back far enough you can see numerous posts with me and MrHonline joking about people suggesting the "dreaded double sign and trade". It has always been essentially the most difficult task to accomplish that it bordered on the impossible.
You're missing the point. The NEW rules say - not that a double SNT borders on the impossible - but is now ILLEGAL. Only one FA can be in the deal. Don't you get it? NOW, only ONE FA can be traded in a SNT. That means Howard can be signed-and-traded but not for a package including FAs. Try to keep up.
MaceCase wrote:3rd, I have pointed out numerous times myself about teams over the apron being unable to receive sign and traded players. I've mentioned this numerous times to people thinking Brooklyn was still a player in the Dwight sweepstakes and people thinking that if all else fails, Josh can just be sign and traded to whatever team he wants so there is no fear of not receiving anything in return for him.
Well, there I am wrong and you are right.
MaceCase wrote:All of this may be news to you which is fine but not to me or anyone with a hint of knowledge of the CBA. The fact that Vecsey was unaware as well further sinks whatever credibility he had left.
.... No comment. This is good all by itself.
