fair?

He's healthy, just not back to pre-injury form. No amount of not playing will get him there. Only playing.

He shouldn't be playing 20 mins a game?

Who should be getting his minutes?

Amare. White. Cut back on JR's mins and give some to a collective of Amare, White, and Copeland.

It's been 5 games. FIVE!

I like to see how you'd do in that situation after tearing your ACL.

Someone said it took Tony Allen about two years to get back to what he was after tearing his ACL.

How has White and Copeland been better for the team than Shump?

They're all the same, really. But Shump has a big contract ahead of him because of media/you guys thinking he's better than he is (like landry.) The 3 of them are bench players and nothing more.

I have no problem with this thread as long as the people down the other end of the scale admit that Shumpert probably isn't going to be the next Wade or whatever.

After this thread, I think it's now time to take a realgm break for at least a few days, maybe longer. Threads like these are making me lose it. I'm losing the joy of being a fan of the team and partaking in this forum when seeing a thread like this. I'm just losing it and the handful of posters who have this sick and twisted way of being so derragatory towards our players have had an abnormal effect on my psyche. The right thing to do would be to ignore certain posts and just focus on those whose opinions' matter most, but I don't have the energy at the moment to cipher through so much crap anymore. Thank you mods, BAT lifers, and all the rad posters who usually make up for the crap ones. I've gotten weak and have taken this forum too seriously (when that's the one thing you cannot let happen on here). It's time to go.

Shump is no Fields. I'm done.

Pathetic thread? You guys are reminding me of Lin, Fields, Gallo, and Ariza.

Shump hasn't produced yet. He is our starter! He should be a beast. He is NOT! case closed.

shump got clowned by redick off sets for 7/7fgs with like 4 3pt shots where shump was not even within a 10 foot radius of redick.

Redick isn't just a set shooter, dude can shoot off the dribble, leaning, fading, any damn way

yes he schooled Shumpert but he's also schooled a ton of other NBA players

he's shorter and not as athletic as shumpert. If people on this board want to Don Shump as the next DPOY they need to look at the games he plays in. J.J. is a set shooter. He may shoot off the dribble every now and then when he pump fakes. how dare you say he shoots leaning/fading aways??!! FOH
