he is not a robin...but can he be a #3 option? oh yea no doubt
Yet he is the best player on a team that has similar record as the Knicks in a much tougher conference.
How many teams have a #3 player that averages 17ppg and is 10th in the league in made free throws?
Your bashing of Gallo doesn't help Melo or the Knicks in anyway.
That's nice if you conveniently ignore the injuries the Knicks have dealt with. He's good, not great and I feel like Faried/Lawson are as important as Gallo if not more.

But I am sure they are bias and you are not at all with a username of Galloisdaman.

Give the kid a break. Your hatred is not logical. This is a team game. Guys shouldn't be carrying teams. Teams win not individuals. If you watched last nights game Gallo was interviewed as the star of the game. Every time the interviewer made a big deal about Gallo as a individual all Gallo did was talk about the team not himself. As far as this nonsense goes that he is only a role player because he is at 17ppg how many hall of famers averaged 18ppg or less for their careers??? I can think of several off the top of my head starting with Clyde, James Worthy and Reggie Miller. Then there is Kevin Mchale and Chris Mullin. Gallo is the leading scorer on a team that has almost the same record as the Knicks despite having a horrible road schedule to start the season and playing in a much tougher conference.
no 1 hating, just stating opinions
btw, his flopping cost his team a PO game last year against the lakers, when his team was forced to play 4 on 5 in two critical situations
Do you only remember plays that do not go his way? I see you did not mention his 4 blocks last night. If you like I can make a list of many more plays that won games for the Nuggets. He has had several game winners this season alone. Maybe you feel as long as you are bashing Gallo for last years playoffs you can take your mind off the 1-8 playoff record Melo has had as a Knick.

the problem with Gallo is we've been down this road before.
He'll be hot for a week or two then completely disappear for the next week. He is the posterboy for inconsistency.
You say teams win titles, not individual players....which is true. But besides the 04 Pistons, every team in NBA history that has won a title had at least one bonafied superstar that could carry the team in its most desperate hour. Gallo is not that guy. Ironically, Denvers roster as constructed could make the Finals this year if Melo was added to that team. The one thing they lack is an alpha killer and theyte still searching for someone to replace Melos elite talent.

Faried is important. So is Ty but neither one is as important as Gallo. Ty actually has been very inefficient and horrible on defense all season. Faried has been great. Teams have injuries. The Knicks best part of the season was with the injuries to Amare and Iman not the last month. Nice excuse.

Call it an excuse then take a look at their record when Felton is in the line up compared to out of it and explain to me how there's not a relevant correlation to be drawn.
As far as Gallo vs Ty and Faried. They're a high motor team and Ty Lawson/Faried play huge roles in that. Gallo is key when they slow down to the half court for sure but I think the identity of the team is based more around Ty and Faried. Ty has definitely regressed though, he was hands down the best player last year...he was pretty awesome.

Actually the Knicks record in the season of the trade was better with Gallo then with Melo. Your spin of a 1-8 playoff record is a fail.

You are right about Ty regressing this year but Gallo gets points in both the full court and half court. Gallo has already taken defensive rebounds coast to coast for dunks multiple times this season.

lies.
Amare and Billips were hurt in the first series and we had no backcourt against Miami. If youre gonna keep repeating that 1-8 bullshyt, dont be disingenuous about it.

Anyone that has to resort to personal insults when faced with facts is the actual loser.
