i wouldn't consider him a non-shooter. he has a nice stroke, with touch and an easy motion. he's more of a mid-range shooter at this point than a shooter from all distances, but he's obviously made an effort to expand his range. 83% from the line is a good indication of how good his stroke is too. i wouldn't rule out him ever developing NBA 3 pt range. until then i could see him being utilized as a baseline runner a la ronnie brewer. as i mentioned, he's really good at flashing into open spaces for his jumper and floaters so he could also be used coming off of tight curls and flex cuts.
Yeah, I'm not overly impressed with his stroke. The form is alright, although I feel like balance can be an issue at times. Yes, he is certainly better from mid range and this has historically been stronger than his 3 pter for sure.
I just don't see him being a three point threat in the league, but if Ronnie Brewer can develop a stroke, it certainly is possible. You are spot on with how he could be used at the next level. I think he will be a good man defender in the NBA in spite of the zone. He does a nice job deflecting passes.
Do you think he will still be a strong offensive rebounder at the next level? This is one of his more important strengths imo.
