Serious question. When is John Hammond going to get a column like that written about him by a national writer?
He's churned and burned assets right and left now for five years. Yet he just rides under the radar and keeps collecting his paychecks. The owner likes his work so much that he got a big extension a couple weeks back to boot.
Hammond's last two trades in particular have been completely indefensible garbage and plenty of moves prior to that also sucked, but hey I guess the obvious response to what you posed above is that he gave Skiles both Sanders and Harris to work with and Skiles buried them behind 4th string guys after destroying every ounce of confidence they had.
Chicken and egg, but over the past few years Skiles received WAY too much credit and nowhere near enough heat, particularly nationally. About time someone said something, if you'd asked me who finally did without knowing I would have said Lowe or Dwyer.
