The most moving Joel does is lessen a lux tax burden, i.e. save Arison money. The likelihood that any pick we get back for him would develop into anyone who could give us more consistent minutes than Joel does already, is minimal. So its a bad basketbal move and its a bad financial move (ITO of capspace). The only reason to do it is if (a) you would be happy to make our team marginally worse to save Arison a little money, or (b) you have some weird grudge against Joel where you will literally feel better about life knowing that he's not on the Heat. Of course, I think that might actually be true of some of the posters on this board...
