I thought Lamb would get 15-20 minutes a night for OKC when they traded Harden away for him and Martin.

Well, most OKC fans didn't expect him to get that many. I personally thought he'd start by getting 5-8 minutes a game while Brooks worked to integrate him into the offense and the second unit. Then, by the All-Star break he'd be getting 12-15 a game. Instead, the second unit SF has been Thabo or Durant all year, when Brooks very easily could've played Lamb and Martin together the first 4-5 minutes of the 2nd quarter and even 4th quarters unless it's a tight game.

I know this sounds like really petty stuff for Bobcats fans, but that may be my biggest gripe with Brooks this season...not working to get Lamb and Perry Jones more minutes instead of playing Durant 39-40 minutes a night and Westbrook 36-38 a night. Lamb was abusing the D-League and has looked good almost every time he's gotten in during a blowout. One game, at Atlanta, Brooks gave Lamb meaningful minutes in the second quarter with the second unit, and he hit a 3 and another 2-point basket. That was back in December and he hasn't gotten a single meaningful minute again.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

i think i can stop watching now. its 82-56 in the 3rd. safe to say we didnt pull out the upset of the year.

mullens is just so awful. that rebounding thing lasted about 3 games. biz seems to have forgotten how to rebound as well.

Definitely in jeopardy of losing his role as the token white guy

who do you blame on those two plays where biz left thabeet all alone under the rim as he left to help kemba? once mully was slow to rotate, once hendo was slow. but should biz have better awareness about knowing when to leave his man?

Dunlap. If I was Biz I'd just not rotate because nobody has rotated in turn to guard his man ever.

Hes in jeopardy of losing millions of dollars. Any team can find a a big man (probably a Euro) that can shoot 3s on offense and not rebound.

Adrien isn't big, your argument is invalid.

That was my first game in Charlotte. You guys have an absolutely beautiful arena. Not gonna mince words. Walker and Henderson are your two best players. MKG's shot is UGLY. I couldn't believe that was him in shootaround. And he's so raw. Beal or Drummond look good. Biz looks like a bust. Not an epic, colossal bust, but he doesn't look like he'll ever be a starter on a good team unless its a Joel Anthony role. I have no idea why your coach didn't play Taylor more.

You guys need a star frontcourt player in the worst way. I hope you hit a home run in the upcoming draft, but it's so wide open.

fair enough assessment. you caught hendo on a good night though. he only shows up to play the big name teams. 80% of the time he is passive and looks like a bench player.

Yeah, it's hard to make definitive conclusions based on one game. But Gordon seems like a cancer. He's always off by himself in between whistles, seems like an unhappy, chucking, loner. But you get DET's pick so there's that. Biz didn't seem that intense in terms of his motor. And his rebounding was really bad. Cho has a lot of work to do. He absolutely needs to hit one out of the park this draft, someone with more skill as opposed to an athlete. Oh, and the crowd loves Kemba. It was funny, people next to me were making fun of Sean May and Adam Morrison and then would scream "No!" when Biz took bad shots.

Of course biz sucks at rebounding, mully and mcbobcat literally box out nobody ever and adrien is 6'5. Biz is all alone under there most of the time. I was glad to see him gwt mad at the guys for not rotating when he went to help. He not a bust at all hes just a raw 20 year old thats dealing with being the only competent team defender and rebounder when hes on the floor
