Olodipo has neither the height nor frame of Iggy.

Victor has spotty handles and can only go right on straight-line drives when he's not turning it over on those drives. Potential to be Iggy? Not even...
At max potential he could become a Luol Deng. He will more than likely be a defensive glue guy in the mold of a Thabo Sefolosha or Tony Allen.
Not that we couldn't use that, but is that what we want with a top 5 (currently) pick?

Knight, Stuckey and Prince are all good perimeter defenders but can't win much games. If you look at a lot of the playoff teams in the east, their perimeter defense ranges from ok (New York) to bad (Milwaukee) but they have interior defense makes up for it. We need consistent scoring more than anything else on this team and we won't make the playoffs until we get it.
The Heat live off perimeter defense
Come on now, the Heat's best asset is not perimeter defense, although they are very good at it.
How many points do they get each game by creating t.o.s?.... then consider the challenge opponents have trying to get inside.
Easy buckets from defense = the most efficient offense.

Oladipo first needs to prove he can be counted on to at least make an open jumper consistently before we look to draft him. He will be tested over and over again on this in every team's pre-draft workout session. By draft time, teams will have a much better idea of where he is offensively. And length might be an issue as well.
McLemore is the most well-rounded of the SGs, but for that reason, might be off the board by the time we pick.
Shabazz might be a decent consolation prize to McLemore. I see him and Oladipo pretty even ATM. Shabazz is the offensive guy, Oladipo is the defensive guy....
I think Porter is off the board by the time we pick. Either NO, CLE or PHO take him before we get a chance.

Comparing him to Deng is a overstatement imo, Deng is 4-5 inches taller and was NBA ready after his freshman year.

These Oladipo comparisons are hilarious
