There's no need for posts or pages after pages of Lin discussion if the haters could just accept he's a future All Star and franchise player

:P

I know this for sure, the difference between Nuggets this year and years past, is Kenneth Faried (defensively, rebounding, inside presence), McGee (when he's on, he makes Nuggets offense multi-dimensional and very hard to stop), and Brewer (he's been on Nuggets for a few years? But this is the year I see him attacking the rim like mad man, like he's... on steroid). Losing Gallo hurts them sooner or later...

Wall is balling but people need to apply some context to his good play. the sample is REALLY small. Also Wall is doing this towards the end of the season typically when guys are exhausted & so banged up. Wall comes in with fresh legs & tears the NBA up. I need to see wall do this over a much bigger sample from the begining of the season onwards before I crown him anything. last year dragic did the same thing. blew up the nba in a contract year in the last 28 games of the season. Look at goran now.

I think Goran is a victim of his piss poor supporting cast than anything. He's legit to me. Wall is definitely doing it in a small sample, but it's not the same Wall as before his injury. Less boneheaded, out of control play...it looks like the game has finally slowed down for him. Also, he's hitting jumpers with some more consistency (as someone else noted) and that is going to REALLY open things up for him. I'm not saying he's the next Rose, but style of play wise and growth wise...he's following a similar pattern.

Speaking of former Rockets point guards, what is up with Kyle Lowry?

Still wish we had Faried.

It's an exciting game, and why bother watching basketball if you don't feel excited about it right? :D

Gallo 2.0.

And I loved him here, and thinks he will be a good player for his career.

am i the only person that actually doesn't give a flying f*ck what Lin is doing.

there were more important games going on but the guy always seems to dominate the discussion for no apparent reason...

I don't mean to start a ****, but it's a shame we let Lin walk, we're quite good this year, and Lin is better than Felton. We could have been even better.

is it possible for the nets to get the 3 seed? that would be nice if we had them in the 2nd round instead of the pacers.

If the Pacers lose 5 straight and the Nets win 6 straight its possible. :)

Woah calm down there. Future all star maybe(I am talking about deservingly). Franchise player no chance. Franchise player=superstar.

yea i just checked the standings and saw that it's highly unlikely. what's the tiebreaker if they did end up with the same record?

Dude you're missing the point :o

The point is LeBron held Wade back as far as individual performances go. They may improve each other's game as team players, but their individual games have to take a step or half a step back.

There's no question Lin's game as a team player improves playing with Harden. He learned how to move without the ball, he learned how to read defenses without the ball, learn to balance scoring, passing and giving it up to Harden for his isos (non-assist)... it's the thing about this kid: he keeps learning, keeps evolving and improving his game. He keeps making the most out of the situations he is in, which always has been his story.

But, again, his individual numbers take a hit playing with Harden, and it's the individual numbers that people generally use when they're debating for or against a player.

Nah, you missed the point, Miami fans dont care who wins for them, they riding regardless.

what's amazing about this discussion is the player himself is enjoying this ride, but his fans ca't because their so obsessed with what's not important at all.

Lin cares about a team win and how can contribute to it, stats dont matter to him if the team is winning.....his fans only care about HIS production....the win is secondary.

You dudes are hilarious in that aspect.

Lin could have a triple double in a loss and you'd be happier than if he spotted up a few times and ran off screens and won.

Of course, we Lin fans always know the real reason why Lin is only averaging 13ppg and 6apg. And your post suggests you know it as well.

But the haters don't want to be open enough to see it because if they see it with open mind, they will acknowledge that being reduced to a corner spot up shooter affected his individual numbers significantly. He had to go through almost a full season to now finally having figured it out (it seems) how to operate when Harden is on floor and when Harden is not on floor.

We Lin fans know all along why he's having 5,6,7 points... and 2,3,4 assists games. Mostly it's because of benching (playing 20 minutes) or playing 30-35 minutes but touching the ball so little. But whenever Lin had these rough games, Lin haters just blatantly bashed him and said he is just a scrub, role player for life, average... and a few here actually admitted they can't believe Lin fans use Harden as the reason he's held back. Harden's game holds Lin's game back no question.

I admit I'd probably be happy if Lin has a triple double and Rockets lose, but it's because I'm a Lin fan and a Knick fan, not a Rocket fan. But Rockets winning is better than losing especially in playoffs because it adds to Lin's success. Personally, I've never liked Rockets, Olajuwon stuff, and their scary PA... they also beat us in 1994.

Would your heart break if Lin didn't become a perennial all-star, but rather had a solid NBA career?

The reason i ask is because one is more likely than the other.

We'd be even worse with a young, developing inexperienced PG on a win now type of team. We'd be much worse future wise with Jeremy Lin's insane contract on our books. Who would you take, Jeremy Lin or J.R Smith, Novak and Iman Shumpert? Exactly. Because with an overpaid Lin on our roster we'd have no chance to extend both of J.R Smith and Steve Novak along with matching Shumpert's team option of $2,761,113 come 2014/2015.
