Dude you're missing the point

The point is LeBron held Wade back as far as individual performances go. They may improve each other's game as team players, but their individual games have to take a step or half a step back.
There's no question Lin's game as a team player improves playing with Harden. He learned how to move without the ball, he learned how to read defenses without the ball, learn to balance scoring, passing and giving it up to Harden for his isos (non-assist)... it's the thing about this kid: he keeps learning, keeps evolving and improving his game. He keeps making the most out of the situations he is in, which always has been his story.
But, again, his individual numbers take a hit playing with Harden, and
it's the individual numbers that people generally use when they're debating for or against a player.
Nah, you missed the point, Miami fans dont care who wins for them, they riding regardless.
what's amazing about this discussion is the player himself is enjoying this ride, but his fans ca't because their so obsessed with what's not important at all.
Lin cares about a team win and how can contribute to it, stats dont matter to him if the team is winning.....his fans only care about HIS production....the win is secondary.
You dudes are hilarious in that aspect.
Lin could have a triple double in a loss and you'd be happier than if he spotted up a few times and ran off screens and won.
Of course, we Lin fans always know the real reason why Lin is only averaging 13ppg and 6apg. And your post suggests you know it as well.
But the haters don't want to be open enough to see it because if they see it with open mind, they will acknowledge that being reduced to a corner spot up shooter affected his individual numbers significantly. He had to go through almost a full season to now finally having figured it out (it seems) how to operate when Harden is on floor and when Harden is not on floor.
We Lin fans know all along why he's having 5,6,7 points... and 2,3,4 assists games. Mostly it's because of benching (playing 20 minutes) or playing 30-35 minutes but touching the ball so little. But whenever Lin had these rough games, Lin haters just blatantly bashed him and said he is just a scrub, role player for life, average... and a few here actually admitted they can't believe Lin fans use Harden as the reason he's held back. Harden's game holds Lin's game back no question.
I admit I'd probably be happy if Lin has a triple double and Rockets lose, but it's because I'm a Lin fan and a Knick fan, not a Rocket fan. But Rockets winning is better than losing especially in playoffs because it adds to Lin's success. Personally, I've never liked Rockets, Olajuwon stuff, and their scary PA... they also beat us in 1994.
