The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Is there a correlation between Ty's game management and the number of decent players available?

Mo can be the mascot or water boy but I wouldn't want him to be the ball boy much less ever touch a basketball again while with the jazz.

I like Mo's agressiveness. It gets the other players involved.

It almost always does the opposite.

We are going to need a Vet next year to run this team, and I am sure the Jazz Club believe this also, but for the sake of future years, were likely to find our next PG(even for bench), even if its not like a lillard.

I think based off his current injury recovery, team experience, history, etc. Mo is the most likely candidate to be the starting PG next year. Of Course there is options...

I think Mo is the wrong guy for this team going forward, especially if they want him to be the starting PG.

I'll be stunned if they bring him back.

I could see it, too; I guess I shouldn't say I'd be stunned, "disappointed" would be a better word for it.

I think Mo is unlikely to sign just a one year deal. He'll want a 3-4 year deal from someone.

As a backup, a la Jason Terry, I'd love him. What he is now? No.

I agree. I just don't see Mo consenting to that role on this team unless the Jazz miraculously land a top 10 PG.

So back to square one, we want a vet to play bench of Mo or Terry's caliber, but want a young super-promising point guard like what we got in Dwill to be our starter....

As much as I want that, I don't think it is happening next year, maybe the year after. Cause the only young super-promising PG's is Burke, and god knows if he does good in NBA(I think so, but there are others who might do better).

Personally I want Burks - Hayward - Favors - Kanter to start next year, even if that means starting Burks at PG!

I think we have the assets to get what we want, though. I guess we'll see...maybe we could get in a three way with Pheonix and New Orleans for Dragic.

Would love Dragic, but what do we have that we're willing to part with and that they (NO or Phoenix) would want?

cap space for one. phoenix's owners are known for being cheap, and dragic is making 7.5M per year. they may end up drafting another pg - smart, MCW or burke, and they have marshall too. so it may serve their purpose to get rid of dragic for a cheaper and younger player. it will also help them tank next season in a good draft. same goes for NO. they may elect to go for a young and cheap PG in this draft instead of electing to pay big bucks to vasquez.

I'm skeptical of either team giving up Dragic or Vasquez for cap space (are there tax issues at play here?), but I'd be thrilled to acquire one of them.
