I think basketball games and momentum can turn on a dime. If the Knicks hadn't let the last couple of minutes before halftime of Game 4 get out of hand (in the closing minute or two of the 2nd quarter), we'd have already wrapped up the series on a sweep.

If JR plays Game 4, there's reason to think Boston doesn't survive. But if Boston just has an exceptional shooting night tomorrow, let's say, then there's good reason to think this goes to a decisive Game 7 ... in which the Knicks have a lot of pressure on them.

Just how I think about these games -- they can go either way with a little unusual luck in either direction. Better team usually wins because the bad team has to get more breaks, but it's fairly precarious.

Few thoughts...

Hopefully we beat these cats down with class, and basically ignore them while we celebrate
Our success..

Hope cats dont adopt the funeral theme...

As mush as Boston can eat it, the media will run wild in light of the recent tradgedies

And label us as insensitive villains ... The media circus will have all three rings and the big top.

Media cloud ruins Knicks run.

Edit : also can't get baited into brawling with them fools...pj brown,Charlie ward style

They may try to goons us out....

With that said...let's roll these cats...

Don't come in the Mecca talkin that shyte ya dig!

I think I'm saying that while it sounds crazy to think that a team can lose 4 in a row after trash talk, it may not be so crazy. Personal pride is a big motivating factor. The Celtics may have been ready to roll over and die a little bit but now they're ego is more involved.

Am I saying that will be the obvious culprit if this series goes in reverse? No. Nobody could say that. But you let sleeping dogs lie because personal pride wakes people up.

you guys have to realize that kg is superstitious. he feels like if he's too cocky the knicks will lose so he pretty much has to act like this.

knicks scholar, get ready to get happy

But there needs to be more of an offensive balance in Game 5, and that starts with Melo because of the attention he demands.

"For me, it's just working everybody back into the play, getting guys shots where they need to be at," he said.

Series is over man, Celtics destroyed us last game and I don't think JR not being there has any impact. Celtics will now easily win the next 3 games and put us out of our misery. We fought hard but didn't have enough this year.

Just setting us up for more disappointment. I'll relax when the series is over.

0-103 is the record for teams trying to come back from 0-3.
