yep
and even if BKN is better for next 1-2 years, melo has that opt out clause and if NY doesnt improve, he'll go somewhere else to win

That about sums it up.
We have the whole offseason to make a trade to improve the team and I hope we do that. I don't mean signing some D-League guys and Will Bynum. These small moves aren't putting us over the hump.

So shortishgted.
The Nets just guaranteed they'll be worse than the Knicks from 2014-2018. Who the hell cares if they win 50 games and lose in the second round in 2013?
The Knicks have bigger issues than a cross-town rivalry for who can be the better fake contender.

What? When was this post even made? There was no evidence as of the initial report as wojs link said it was exploratory from brooklyns side and quickly escalated from there.

It was made when Wojkowski posted on twitter that the teams were in talks. I read all the Twitter posts, I don't think there was any implication that it was one-sided.
So you waited until now to quote that post? Got it.

I don't think they'll feel too bad when they're in the Eastern Conference Finals with Miami.

Tell me, why exactly do you think the additions of declining KG and declining PP vault them from losing in the first round to a home bulls team over us, a healthy bulls team with derrick rose that will be going for it, and an improved pacers team?
