First off, you're still ignoring that 'how they score' part, how Boozer needs to be fed and Aldridge can create for himself.
Second off, only one of those three things is still true. Boozer scored more on higher efficiency the year before he signed here than LMA did this past season, but he scored less on lower efficiency this past season. Shouldn't we worry more about Boozer's production now and what it's likely to be in the future vs that of Aldridge rather than what Boozer's production was three years ago?
I'm very specifically talking about the season before we signed Boozer (whose signing is generally seen as a failure by many on this board) and Aldridge last season.
Do I think Aldridge is a better player then Boozer was then? Absolutely, but I do not believe he is a transcendent talent or 'special' or worth selling the farm to obtain.
I don't think the difference between the two Is so vast that we should open up the coffers for a players whose best offense comes from the least efficient shot in basketball.
