Translation:
He couldn't wait to get out of "hell" from his point of view and as he put it can't wait to come to the "storied franchise". This move is going to be another under the radar classic killer like Grunnie has shown us in the past. Bargs is going to give us his best....
This reach is big enough to circle the Earth.
In contrast to past moves where we'd be a lottery team and bank on aquired players to make great strides or get back to levels they displayed 5 years prior to their acquisition we took a calculated risk here. We ARE a 55 win team already and Bargnani is 27 years old and played at a strong level in each of his past 5 seasons except the last one. It's not like Grunwald has taken some HUGE immeasurable risk with no chance of paying off....think about it , if Bargs manages to play decent post defense (which even Toronto fans and journalists say he'd been doing) and provides 16points/5rebounds on offense we'll all be celebrating the trade. Does that sound like some huge reach or unrealistic goal?
The amount of jumpshots will increase and team rebounding will decrease. I fail to see how any of that is a good thing for a team that lives and dies by its jumpshots.
